1. Company Background and Facilities
Welcome to Orascom's Concrete Products Division (CPD). CPD was established in October 2000 as an Orascom business segment. It has since maintained unchallenged leadership in the precast concrete industry. The factory facilities are located in Ain Sokhna, North West Gulf of Suez, on an area of 50,000 square meters.
CPD factory is equipped with advanced fully computerized batching and pressing machines, employing state of the art German technology. The quality and efficiency of production is increased by using automated checkpoints covering the process from receiving raw materials to palletizing final products. Our facilities also include a state of the art laboratory, stones, underground water tank and 5000 m2 of covered area. In result, the highest quality products with most precision are produced. CPD has an average shoft production capacity of 24,000 standard hollow blocks or 2,000 m2 of paving stones. The factory can operate 3 shifts per day in a 6 day/week calendar.
CPD facilities are managed and operated by highly skilled and experienced staff. Our sales force and administrative department in Cairo's show room are keen to satisfy your needs with a smile, minimal paper work and no delays.
CPD has the confidence and expertise to act as your one-stop-shop designer and supplier of concrete products. For your design, specification and layout needs, orascom's Design and Engineering Department is prepared to satisfy your design tasks, whether simple such as landscape architectural elements or complex tasks such as material choice feasibility study.
CPD products are supplied to and approved by many sectors in Egypt, i.e. institutional, military, healthcare, education, power and water distribution, residential and commercial sectors. All CPD products are in accordance with Egyptian and ASTM standard specifications or equivalents. Our products can be delivered to your projects in all Governorates of Egypt. This is accomplished through our reasonably priced transportation network. All our products are strapped on wooden pallets to insure proper handling. Drivers are trained to place our products where needed within your project premises to facilitate your productivity at no bakhashis.
